Enjoy a program of light classical and popular Mexican music celebrating Mother’s Day.

American Music Festivals is pleased to collaborate with the Consulate General of Mexico in Chicago in presenting a free concert by the Lincolnwood Chamber Orchestra.

The concert is free and open to the public. It is designed for all ages and is meant to appeal to audiences of all backgrounds!

This Mother’s Day event will be American Music Festivals second collaboration with Chicago’s Mexican community.  In 2011 the LCO performed alongside the Sones de Mexico ensemble at Benito Juarez Community Academy.

American Music Festivals reaches out to diverse communities in Chicago and throughout the world to participate in cultural exchange programs that share great music and bring people together in friendship.

Special thanks to Mr. Eduardo Nino, Consul for Community Affairs, at the Mexican Consulate in Chicago for his vision and commitment to cultural exchange.
