American Music Festivals Celebrates 25th Anniversary
It’s been 25 years now and reflecting back American Music Festivals has achieved many of our goals. To bring orchestral music to diverse audiences. To provide musical opportunity, collaborating with organizations and individuals of all backgrounds. To hone our skills, provide artistic leadership, and champion American culture throughout the world.
Our messaging is always a positive one. Through the vibration of our music making—the harmony, the search for a never ending melody, and the reliability of a steady beat we move people and communities forward. While sustaining, and at times creating, orchestral heritage.
The 25th Anniversary Concert, given on March 26 at the Lincolnwood Community Center, acknowledged the beginnings of the Lincolnwood Chamber Orchestra, the founding of American Music Festivals in the emerging democracies of Eastern Europe, and our work promoting equity, peace, and understanding.
We still have some big dreams to achieve in the future. Be a part of our 25th Anniversary Season. We’ll keep you informed our activities and concert making, both at home and internationally.
American Music Festivals promotES cultural exchange,
presenting concerts that celebrate diversity
and preserve orchestral heritage.
American Music Festivals reaches out to communities through orchestral concerts that bring people together to experience the fine arts and humanities. Promoting cultural exchange we embrace diversity, celebrating our differences and discovering what we share as human beings--moving forward a conversation about equity and inclusion.
American Music Festivals is committed to preserving and furthering orchestral heritage. Our music making has attracted an amazing team of musicians, community advocates, and outreach professionals to our cause. It has helped us build partnerships and professional relationships with organizations and individuals around the world. Our concerts tell a story that speaks to the power of music to move people, help change perspectives, and to challenge norms. American Music Festivals is excited to continue to help provide professional orchestral programming throughout the many communities that make up Chicagoland, and around the world.
Thanks for being a part of our vision.
